Detectives are continuing to investigate the death of 51-year-old Adam Lucas, whose body was discovered in the River Leam at Victoria Park in Leamington earlier this year. Warwickshire Police launched a murder investigation after Adam was found in the river on the morning of Wednesday 15 April. Police were called to Victoria Park at around 7.45am after a member of the public spotted a body in the water. Officers attended alongside paramedics, but Adam was sadly pronounced dead. A post-mortem examination later established that he had died from injuries consistent with being assaulted. Police continue to seek information Detectives have been working to establish Adam's movements in the hours before his death and are continuing to appeal for information from the public. Police are particularly interested in Adam's movements between 11pm on Tuesday 14 April and 7.45am on Wednesday 15 April. Investigators want to hear from anyone who may have seen Adam, spoken to him or witnessed anything that could help establish what happened. Adam was described by police as a white man of slim build, with short dark hair and a greying beard and moustache. Police said he was wearing a white Nike Air Jordan T-shirt, black jacket, a snood around his neck and black-and-white Nike trainers.
