Five men have been arrested as police continue to investigate the stabbing of an 18-year-old man in Coventry.

The teenager was found with stab wounds in Far Gosford Street shortly after 10.40pm on Tuesday, August 25.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, although West Midlands Police said they were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said five men aged between 18 and 23 have now been arrested as part of the attempted murder investigation.

One of the five has been released with no further action, two have been released on bail with conditions and two remain in police custody.

Officers are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who was in the area between 10.30pm and 11pm, particularly motorists who may have dashcam footage.
