Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a mosque in Coventry. West Midlands Police said a donation box containing cash was stolen from a mosque in Paynes Lane during the early hours of 4 August. Officers have released an image of a man they want to speak to as part of their enquiries and are asking anyone who recognises him to come forward. Police said the burglary is not believed to have been racially or religiously motivated. Officers are working with the mosque leadership to provide reassurance following the incident.
