A six-year-old girl has died following a serious collision on the Fosse Way near Moreton Morrell. The collision, involving a Volkswagen Tiguan and a tractor, happened on the B4455 on Friday 31 July. Emergency services attended and the girl was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. She died the following morning. Warwickshire Police said her family are being supported following the tragedy. The drivers of both vehicles and two other young passengers were reported to be physically uninjured but shaken by what happened. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam footage from the Fosse Way in the area at around 5pm, to come forward.
