More than £2 million of investment has been approved for education infrastructure across Warwickshire. Warwickshire County Council’s Cabinet approved £2.067 million of additions to its 2026/27 Education Capital Programme on 10 September. The funding is primarily coming from housing developer contributions and the High Needs Capital Allocation. The largest allocation is £1.55 million for Bidford-on-Avon CE Primary School. The council says the scheme will relocate early-years provision to a standalone building, increase nursery capacity by 10 places and provide a dedicated space for two-year-olds. Ashlawn School in Rugby is allocated £367,000 for expanded hard courts and an additional multi-use games area. Other funding in the programme is aimed at facility improvements and expanding SEND provision. The council says the investment is intended to respond to demand and improve education facilities across the county.
