West Midlands Police were called to Roselands Avenue at around 10.10pm on Tuesday (11 August) following reports of a stabbing. A 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital suffering from a stab wound. Police have confirmed that she has since been discharged. A 42-year-old woman also suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital. She has also since been discharged. A 45-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of wounding and remained in police custody at the time of the latest police statement. West Midlands Police said the incident is believed to have been isolated and acknowledged the concern it may cause within the local community.
