Bedworth’s Big Bicycle Bash is returning to Miners’ Welfare Park on Sunday 16 August, with a free programme aimed at cyclists and families. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council says the event will run from 11am until 2pm and include displays from Nuneaton BMX Club, speed games and prizes. The Active Travel Team’s Dr Bike service will offer safety inspections, advice and minor repairs, while bike marking will also be available. A range of second-hand bicycles for different ages is due to be offered for sale. The event comes as work continues on phase two of the Bedworth Physical Activity Hub, which is expected to add a 3G pitch, learn-to-ride area and skatepark in 2027. Entry to the Big Bicycle Bash is free.
