Coventry city centre is set to host a day of stunt displays, activities and a zipwire later this month. The free Action Zone is due to take place on Saturday 22 August between 11am and 5pm across Broadgate and Upper Precinct. Coventry City Council says the event will feature high-energy ramps, jumps and freestyle displays accompanied by a DJ soundtrack. Visitors will also be able to try selected activities, including basic stunt sessions and a zipwire running between Broadgate and Upper Precinct. The event is part of the council’s Big Summer Takeover, which is bringing a programme of free family entertainment to the city centre during August. No admission charge is listed for the event, although visitors should check the council listing before travelling in case timings or arrangements change.
