Coventry city centre is set for another day of free family entertainment when the Big Summer Takeover returns with its Action Zone on Saturday 22 August.
Coventry City Council says the event will feature high-energy ramps, jumps and freestyle displays accompanied by a DJ soundtrack. Visitors will also be able to try basic stunts and have a go on a zipwire running from Broadgate towards Upper Precinct.
The Action Zone forms part of the council’s month-long Big Summer Takeover, which has included seaside-themed entertainment, open-air films in the Cathedral Ruins and Sports Fest.
The programme is intended to bring free activities into the city centre throughout the school summer holidays.
