A deadline is approaching for landowners and developers to put forward potential development sites in Nuneaton and Bedworth. The borough council’s summer 2026 Call for Sites closes at 11.59pm on Monday 10 August. It forms part of the early work towards preparing a new Local Plan. The council says sites of 0.25 hectares or more can be submitted for potential future uses including housing, employment, retail and social infrastructure such as community facilities, green space and schools. Submitting land through the process does not itself grant planning permission or guarantee that a site will eventually be allocated for development. The exercise follows changes to national planning legislation and policy and will help inform future planning work in the borough.
