Bus passengers across Warwickshire are being urged to check their journeys ahead of a series of route and timetable changes taking effect from Saturday, August 29. Warwickshire County Council says the changes include new routes, revised frequencies and the withdrawal of some lower-use evening journeys. In the Nuneaton and North Warwickshire area, a new 41B will run between Nuneaton and Kingsbury via Baxterley, Hurley and Wood End. An additional evening journey is being added to service 19 between Arley and Nuneaton, while Friday and Saturday evening journeys on the 65A between Nuneaton and Kingsbury are being withdrawn. Sunday journeys on service 56 between Coventry and Nuneaton will run via George Eliot Hospital, while service 42 is being withdrawn following changes to service 41. In Rugby, service 4 between Brownsover and Bilton will move from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes from Monday to Saturday. Evening journeys on the 2A between Long Lawford and Hillmorton are also being withdrawn. A new service 27 will begin on Sunday, August 30, providing a direct link from Coventry Pool Meadow Bus Station via London Road to SEGRO Park. Changes are also planned in Stratford and other parts of the county. Warwickshire County Council is advising passengers to check updated timetables before travelling over the bank holiday weekend.
